2018 Fiat Freemont

The European Dodge Journey will once again come without bigger changes, as 2018 Fiat Freemont. This crossover might sound Italian, but it is a true American crossover.

It came in 2011 and it is practically a rebadged version of the Dodges model. With this name, it comes in Europe, but it is also offered in Australia. Compared to the Journey, it is practically the same, except it comes with Fiat’s badge. So, it is basically a nine-year-old crossover, which will hardly play some more important role on the market that is full of much younger and better crossover. We hope that the redesign will come soon, although there are also some reports about discontinuation.

Anyway, the 2018 Freemont will come without changes. It will come with the completely same characteristics, although we could see some smaller updates in terms of new standard features.

2018 Fiat Freemont redesign

As we already mentioned, 2018 Fiat Freemont will come without bigger changes. It is basically the same vehicle as Journey. It rides on the same familiar JC platform from Chrysler, which looks pretty outdated nowadays. There aren’t many models on the market with Freemont’s age on the market. Despite it was launched in 2011, it practically dates from 2008, when Journey came. In terms of styling, we didn’t see many changes since then. This model received an update several years ago, but the base shape and design language are still here.

The same is with interior design. The 2018 Fiat Freemont will come with a familiar cabin, which is completely different from all other models of this Italian car maker. Its design looks pretty rugged and doesn’t feature Italian flavor at all. Despite its age and outdated design, list of equipment is still pretty good.
