The famous Bavarian manufacturer prepares a completely new version of its compact crossover and 2019 BMW X3 will follow these changes. The new generation was presented this summer and it should enter production soon.

The 2019 BMW X3 will come with all those changes that the next generation will introduce. There are many improvements compared to the outgoing model. There is a completely new platform, which utilizes many lightweight materials. The new 2019 BMW X3 will come with the company’s familiar engines. However, we expect to see some improvements in terms of power and torque.
The base model is expected to feature a familiar 2.0-liter gasoline engine, which will for this occasion gain a slight power boost. It will now feature a max power of 248 horses and 258 pound-feet of torque. This amount is enough for a 0-60 sprint in about six seconds, while the top speed will go up to 130 miles per hour.
The new generation will also come in famous hi-performance M package. This model will feature a 3.0-liter Turbo engine, with max power of 355 horses and 369 pound-feet of torque. This will be enough for a 0-60 sprint in about 4.5 seconds, while the top speed will go over 155 miles per hour. Both models will feature 8-speed automatic transmission with AWD as standard.
2019 BMW X3 release date and price
The 2019 BMW X3 will come without bigger changes, so expect it somewhere late next year. When it comes to the price, the base model should go around 40.000 dollars. Main competitors will be models like Mercedes GLC, Audi Q5, Jaguar F-Pace etc.
