After revising the MKZ and the Continental sedans and MKC crossover, the company is now revamping the popular 2019 Lincoln MKX. The test model of the upcoming vehicle was recently spotted on roads near Michigan, near the headquarters of the company.
Despite the camouflage, the changes are evident and spy shots are now available online. Some design changes and enhanced amenities are on the cards.
2019 Lincoln MKX – In line with Hyundai Kona
The camouflaged test model of upcoming Lincoln MKX is not enough to hide the styling changes. The car will sport the restyled grille which has also been used in stable mates Continental and MKZ. A chrome mesh grille is set to replace the ‘butterfly’ grille. The front bumper is revised and new headlamps are there. In fact, the car is getting two-tier lighting- much in line with Hyundai Kona and new Jeep Cherokee. It will be sold in trim levels Premiere, Select, Reserve, and top Black Label. The cabin is likely to get small updates with enhanced upholstery choices and a revised dashboard. The cargo space may remain the same.
Safety Features

Ecoboost Engine in the 2019 Lincoln MKX
The 2019 Lincoln MKX models will be equipped with Ford’s new range of Ecoboost engines, leading to better fuel economy. The new nine-speed automatic transmission may be used with these engines.
The 3.7-litre Ti-VCT V6 engine that produces 303-hp and a new four-cylinder engine may also be offered. The powertrain may be laden with Lincoln Drive Control which offers some driving modes. The EPA rating is 17/26 mpg.
2019 Lincoln MKX – Price and Availability
