Latest reports suggest that the Opel’s small city car will get the new version, which will come by the end of the year probably as 2018 Opel Karl EV. Named after Adam Opel’s oldest son, this small hatchback has been around for about four years.

When it comes to the price, we can only say that the new version will cost much more. The current base model goes around 11.000 dollars. Considering production costs of the electric powertrain, as well as a longer list of standard equipment, this version could easily reach 20.000 dollars.
