With most luxury carmakers revamping their lineup to woo the customers, can Honda sit idle? Honda’s luxury wing, Acura has started revamping its portfolio with the new 2019 Acura MDX. The MDX model is the brand’s popular model with the company claiming it to be the highest selling midsized luxury crossover. Two new exterior colors are there San Marino Red and Basque Red. The LED headlights and redesigned grille add to the oomph. 2019 Acura MDX Interior gets luxury touches
The cabin is quite well designed and it has touches of luxury too. There are 3 rows of seats that can accumulate seven passengers. The base trim can be laden with 2 packages Advance and Technology.
You may opt for wood grains in the cabin. The third row is not very spacious though. There is a large deep center bin, door bins, and large cup holders. The 2019 Acura MDX scores very well in safety. In fact, it is among the top luxury crossovers getting good marks in safety. The model gets AcuraWatch safety suite that features LED headlights, automatic emergency braking, traction control, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning. 2019 Acura MDX Powertrain and Fuel Economy
The new model 2019 Acura MDX comes with two engine options. The first one is the regular engine 3.5-liter V6 that makes an output of 290 horsepower.

The 2019 Acura MDX gets a Sport Hybrid version which gets AWD and a hybrid setup. However, as for the design changes, the hybrid model is minimalistic facelifted. The interior of this model will get better and bigger 12.3-inch infotainment display, tri-zone automatic climate control, 10-speaker ELS audio system and more.

The 2019 Acura MDX is going to be made available in late 2018. Its approx base trim price is $45.000, while the fully loaded model goes up to $60.000. However, the Hybrid model starts at $59.000. This price is around $4000 less than BMW X5 xDrive40e iPerformance model. In the same price range, one can also get hybrid model Lexus RX 400h.
