The famous SUV will most likely continue without bigger changes for the next year, as 2019 Audi Q7. This mid-size luxury crossover is present on the market for more than a decade.

The original version came in 2007. Since then, we saw one mid-cycle update and one redesign. The latter happened two years ago. So, it is clear that there is no place for some more important changes at the moment. This crossover will be still pretty fresh. Also, it is important to mention that the manufacturer from Ingolstadt prepares a big launch of the coupe-like Q8. All these indicate that the facelift of the Audi’s most famous crossover will have to wait for another year or two.

The 2019 Q7 will continue in the pretty much same manner, featuring a familiar design and pretty much the same list of standard equipment. It will arrive late in the year.

So, the 2019 Audi Q7 will most likely continue without changes. We are about to see a familiar design. Just like most of SUVs from the VW Group, this one also rides on a familiar MLB architecture. Also, there is a recognizable Audi’s corporate look. Simply, the second generation just continued with the evolution of the original. It basically features the same shape, but there is a completely new suit. Without radical changes, German manufacturer managed to make second-generation much more attractive.

Besides new design language, there is also a new interior design. The new cabin looks more attractive. There are many new styling details, better materials and more equipment inside. So, don’t expect many novelties for the next year.

The biggest novelty for the 2019 Audi Q7 will be in terms of adding new standard features. Each trim level could get something new, but the core will remain the same. There are three trims in the offer. The base Premium comes with standard features like leather upholstery, 7-inch touchscreen, sunroof, 10-speaker sound system and much more. A mid-range Premium Plus brings various improvements. Some of them are upgraded the sound system, Navigation, Blind-Spot Monitoring, LED accents on headlights etc.

Finally, there is a top-range Prestige model. This version adds bigger 20-inch wheels, adaptive air-suspension, a head-up display, and power-closing doors and various other things. This trim includes a bigger V6 engine as standard as well. Also, it is worth to mention that there are various optional packages in the offer, as well as numerous standalone options.

For the U.S. market, the 2019 Audi Q7 will come with two engines in the offer. The base engine is a familiar 2.0-liter inline-four unit with a max power of 250 horses and 270 pound-feet of torque. The optional V6 engine has a displacement of 3.0-liters. It delivers around 330 horses and 320 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

For abroad markets, such as Europe, there are diesel engines in the offer as well. Besides familiar 3.0-liter V6 TDI unit, there is also a version with an electric motor, as well as a hi-performance SQ7.

Since there won’t be changes, the 2019 Audi Q7 will come somewhere late in the year. The exact launch date is still unknown, but we can presume that this arrival will happen somewhere in last few months of 2018. We also don’t expect changes in price. Base versions of this excellent SUV go around 51.000 dollars. Competition is pretty touching.

There are famous rivals like BMW X5 and Mercedes GLE. Also, this segment is full of various other models from Japanese and European manufacturers. Some of those excellent crossovers are models like Acura MDX, Infiniti QX60, Range Rover Sport, Volvo XC90 etc.
