At the moment, it is hard to predict exact changes for the 2019 BMW X1. It seems the company prepares some updates but more precise details are unavailable at the moment. So, we must rely on speculations and our own predictions. The new model came two years ago and still looks pretty fresh. It completely follows the brand’s newest design language. These models will definitely come with many new styling solutions and the updated 2019 BMW X1 will definitely borrow some few new details. This will probably include some tweaks on the bumper and possibly some other parts at the front. Also, expect novelties in terms of colors, wheels design and similar things.

2019 BMW X1 interior changes

When it comes to the interior design, we are pretty sure that the 2019 BMW X1 will come without bigger changes. The current model features pretty attractive cabin, among bests in class. It is comfortable, stylish and also full of equipment. The list of standard features even in the base model is quite impressive. So, for this occasion, we cannot expect anything more than few new standard features for each trim and new interior color schemes. The current base model comes with standard features like 8-inch wheels, fog lights, rain-sensing wipers, a power liftgate, dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, eight-way power front seats. It also includes standard features like a 6.5-inch screen, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, and a seven-speaker sound system with HD radio etc. So, there isn’t much space for some bigger improvements in this aspect.

2019 BMW X1 engines

This update probably will not include changes under the hood. The 2019 BMW X1 will continue with the same engines in the offer. The North American model will come with a familiar 2.0-liter inline-four gasoline engine, which delivers around 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It comes in a pair with an 8-speed automatic transmission. With this amount of power, a small crossover needs around 6.5 seconds to reach 60 mph, while fuel economy goes around 26 miles per gallon in a combined drive.

For some other markets, there is also a smaller 134-hp 1.5-liter three-cylinder unit, as well as a 2.0-liter diesel engine which comes in several output configurations, from 150 to 230 horsepower.
