The base model will most likely feature a familiar 2.0-liter Turbo inline-four engine, which GM uses for various new models. This engine comes in several output variants, depending on the model. The upcoming Terrain will feature a variant with 252 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. For this occasion, it could feature even more power.

When it comes to transmission, expect to see a new 9-speed automatic. Even some hi-performance is quite possible. However, the base should feature pretty decent fuel economy, so we could see the new model compete in some parts of the world that is not usual for this brand. The 2019 Cadillac XT4 should come somewhere in the second half of next year. However, its premiere could happen a little bit earlier. When it comes to the price, base models will probably go slightly over 30.000 dollars, while top models will easily go over 40.000 dollars.
