The 2019 Ford Flex will come with two familiar V6 gasoline engines in the offer. The base engine is a familiar 3.5-liter Duratec unit, which is good for about 287 horsepower and 254 pound-feet of torque. The optional EcoBoost unit is much more efficient. This unit features pretty much the same displacement, but a max output is around 365 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque.

With this engine, 2019 Ford Flex will be able to go from zero to sixty in about 6.2 seconds, while the top speed goes around 120 miles per hour. Besides more power, this engine also has a better fuel economy, which goes around 16 in the city and 22 mpg on a highway. Both engines come with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The 2019 Ford Flex will come somewhere in the second half of next year. We don’t expect bigger changes in the price. Base models will be available already at 31.000, while the best-equipped versions can go up to 45.000 dollars.
