If we consider that the current generation of this famous crossover is present for less than a year, it is hard to expect some bigger changes for the 2019 Honda CR-V. At that time, this excellent crossover will enter the third year of production, which is still early for some bigger changes.

Although it has a similar amount of power, it is much more efficient and features much better fuel economy. Both engines come in a pair with a familiar CVT transmission.
For some other markets like Europe, there is also a diesel version in the offer. This model features a 1.6-liter unit, which delivers around 160 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. This engine comes with a new 9-speed automatic transmission.
Finally, there is also an old but proven 152-hp 2.0-liter engine, which is available for some specific markets.
2019 Honda CR-V release date and price
The 2019 Honda CR-V will come in usual time, which is somewhere late in the next year. When it comes to price, we don’t expect changes, so base models will go around 24.000 dollars.
