2019 Honda Element will be released next year

Nowadays, it has become quite a commonplace trend among carmakers to re-launch discontinued and popular models of yesteryears. Like some of its rival brands, Japanese carmaker Honda is walking on the same route! The compact crossover 2019 Honda Element is likely to be launched.

Made on the Honda CR-V platform, the original Element was unveiled in 2003 and it was on market since 2011. In the years after its launch in the Canadian and US market, the Honda Element gained traction with the target buyers and sold in huge numbers. At that time, SUV market was not so coked with options and young buyers found the Element worth trying out.

However, soon rival carmakers launched their offerings to combat the Element and it faced stiff competition from the likes of Nissan Cube and Toyota FJ Cruiser. This car also faced the heat from stablemate Honda CR-V which proved to be a runaway success. Besides, the company chose not to revamp the design for 9 years which took a toll on its sales and popularity. Finally, declining sales figures made Honda declare the withdrawal of Element in 2011.
