FCA is revamping its portfolio of popular and existing models and the company is also gearing up to introduce a few new models for an upcoming year, one of them is the model 2019 Jeep Yuntu. The company is also focusing on bringing back some popular models of the past and market specific model launches are also on agenda.

The spy shots of 2019 Jeep Yuntu Concept based SUV are available on the web now. It is not known if the production version will also be called Yuntu or something else. The three-row crossover will give FCA the scope to compete against the heavyweights like GM and Ford in a segment where it had no presence for quite a long time. The Yuntu concept is first time public 2017 at the Shanghai Auto Show. That model was a plug-in hybrid concept. The final model may have some off-road specific features too.
The spy shots indicate some strong similarities between the original Yuntu Concept and the prototype. The grille and front fascia look similar to begin with. It may come in several exterior colors and a few trim levels- much like other vehicles in the Jeep lineup.

The interior design of the 2019 Jeep Yuntu may use some design cues from the Cherokee or Renegade. It will have enough cargo space as well as bins and cubbies to keep small items. FCA may offer customizations for upholstery.
