The V-6-based hybrid setup used in the existing model will be retained in the 2019 version with some tweaks to the powertrain. The base price of new 2019 Lexus RX 450hL is approx $53,185. This is about $5000 more than the model with 2 row of seats. Furthermore, the top trim F Sport starts near $58,000. With customizations, the price can exceed $60.000. The car will be available for sale in a few months.

The 2019 Lexus RX 450h is a nice midsized luxury hybrid crossover that will appeal to a large section of buyers. Its expanded seating capacity will let Lexus gain new grounds in the US market. The powertrain is a solid performer and amenities leave almost no place for grudges. The company also offers plenty of customization packages for the vehicle.

The pricing, however, remains on the competitive side. Rivals like Volvo XC90 Hybrid and Acura MDX Sport Hybrid have higher price tags than this one.
