Nissan, the noted Japanese carmaker has several SUV and crossover models in its lineup and most of these are quite popular in various markets. The 2019 Rogue will get a stylish cabin and quality of materials receive a boost. The Divide-N-Hide cargo setup is handy and you will like the EZ Flex seating system. This time will be sold in 5 seater setup. The base trim has a somewhat cheap looking cabin but things improve as you step up. The 39.3 cubic feet cargo space is decent.

Safety and Amenities

The 2018 Rogue scores very well on safety fronts and Nissan has also deployed enough amenities to make it race ahead of segment rivals. All trims get six airbags, rearview camera, blind-spot monitors, and automatic emergency braking. However, the Rogue SL trim includes automatic emergency braking, active lane control and lane departure warnings. SL Platinum Package also adds ProPilot Assist system and adaptive cruise control.

The Nissan Connect infotainment system has been revamped and the new version is sleeker and more responsive to use. You also get Bluetooth and Smartphone integration. Amenities like 2 Zone Automatic Temperature Control, Navigation and leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel are also there.

Barring the hybrid version, all trims come laden with a 2.5-liter inline-4 engine. It was rated 170 HP for 2018 but this time the output may be enhanced. The continuously variable transmission is likely to be there. The new engine may be more fuel efficient. Ride quality is better with 17-inch wheels and it becomes stiffer if you go for larger wheels.

2019 Nissan Rogue Hybrid Version

The 2019 Nissan Rogue will also come with the Hybrid engine like the current one. It will have 2.0-liter inline-4 engine + electric motor that produces a total net output of 176 horsepower. Its EPA city/highway fuel economy is rated at 33/35 mpg (FWD), 31/34 mpg (AWD).

The 2019 Nissan Rogue trims are yet to be publish by the Nissan. However, the base trim price may be near $25,000. The Hybrid version will start at $28,000. Its release date may be sometimes in late 2018.

The 2019 Nissan Rogue gets several notables revamps. Its ProPilot Assist system is a welcome addition and there are several customization choices. With right pricing, it can pose a serious threat to rivals from stables of Honda and GM.
