2019 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid MPG, Review, First Drive

Last year Porsche updated its Cayenne model to a whole another level, however, that model wasn’t quite ready for the hybrid version. Now, the 2019 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid is coming to the markets by the end of the year. It is a replacement for the Cayenne S E-Hybrid variant and the latest improvements are astonishing.

The performance is superb, the range is also better, just like the overall efficiency. New styling cues are in the line and the interior will look better than ever.

This mid-size SUV comes with plenty of styling changes. However, there is no difference between the 2019 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid and regular Cayenne models. The only exception is the charging port on the rear driver’s side. The front end is the same as it sports the same front fascia and hood fenders. Moreover, the body features the same lines and creases.

Generally, the exterior looks sleek, clean and attractive. A large panoramic roof is available and the rear holds a modern set of taillights. The side profile features perfect lines that run from front to the rear and the new model for sure looks more aggressive than its predecessor.

Again, standard and E-Hybrid model are the same when it comes to the interior. The space inside the cabin is exactly the same. Both models are using a 12.3-inch display that is placed in the center stack and the same stands for the touch controller and trims around the dash. The only difference comes in the technology department.

The Porsche Communication Management is a system that still can be used to control the process of charging. The same thing can be done via the Porsche Connect application. This app also tracks the charge status and the HVAC system is controllable. The rest of the interior will stay intact and there is no need for any major changes. The interior is comfortable and is packed with plenty of high-tech features.
