Audi continues with the expansion of its SUV lineup and one of the upcoming models is the 2020 Audi Q6. With the current situation on the market, where crossovers are taking over the automotive industry, it’s no wonder that there are more and more premium carmakers that offer so-called coupe-like SUVs, in order to provide an additional dose of luxury to potential customers.
It all started with the BMW X6 and German manufacturers are leading this interesting trend even in these days. Mercedes-Benz already has a whole range of its coupe crossover and now it’s Audi’s turn. One of the first Audi’s of this kind should come already in the next year, with recognizable sloping roof layout, as well as with several more distinctive design solutions. Those are a base 2.0-liter inline-four with 252 horsepower and a 354-hp 3.0-liter V6. Things are a little bit better in Europe, where you can also find a familiar TDI oil-burners in the offer. Considering that many experts see the 2020 Audi Q6 as an upscale models, it would be very interesting to see some kind of hi-performance version. For this occasion, we can count on something more powerful. There a great chance to see a tuned version of the current V6. Moreover, the new crossover could also borrow a 3.6-liter unit from Porsche, in order to get additional muscle.

A few reports suggest a premiere in the first half of next year. Sales should start a couple of months later.
