Most likely, the new 2020 Chevrolet Suburban will be available in three engine variants. The most interesting novelty will be a new 2.7-liter turbo inline-four, which is good for about 310 horses and 350 pound-feet of torque. This will be the first time Suburban to use a four-cylinder engine. It should come paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Other two units are pretty familiar. The first one is a 5.3-liter V8 engine, with 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. This one will also use a familiar 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Finally, there is a mighty 6.2-liter V8 unit, which is good for about 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Unlike other engines, this one will probably come with a new 10-speed automatic gearbox.
2020 Chevrolet Suburban release date and price
The 2020 Chevrolet Suburban should come in the first half of the next year, along with a short-wheelbase version called Tahoe. We don’t expect bigger changes in price, so base models should go around 50.000 dollars.
