It looks like this crossover is getting to the end of production, after just one generation. In the company’s latest plans, there is no place for this crossover, so the 2020 Dodge Journey will probably be the last production model.
The original version came in 2009. It is a pretty common mid-size crossover, which offers plenty of space and strong construction, as well as a powerful V6 engine. On the other side, the dashboard looks very good. It comes with an attractive styling, while all materials in the cabin feature a high level of quality. Moreover, there is a pretty intuitive touchscreen interface, which is the aspect where 2020 Dodge Journey will be better than even some much younger competitors. Base models feature a quite small 4.3-inch screen, while higher trim comes with an almost two times bigger 8.4-inch touchscreen.

In terms of standard equipment, the 2020 Dodge Journey shouldn’t change too much. Though there is few possible novelties, the base equipment structure is about to remain unchanged. There will be four trim levels in the offer. The base trim is called SE and it is a very basic model. Next in the line is SXT, which adds few very useful things, but the most notable is definitely a large 8.4-inch touchscreen. However, Bluetooth is optional. With this one, you can count on things like 19-inch wheels, parking sensors, adaptive cruise control etc. Finally, there is a GT trim, which adds a bit of a luxury. The base one an older version of the familiar 2.4-liter inline-four engine, which delivers around 173 horsepower and 166 pound-feet of torque. It comes with a four-speed automatic transmission, which is a clearly shows how old this crossover actually is. Still, you can count on a quite decent number in terms of fuel economy. In the city, you can count on 19 miles per gallon, while on the highway you can count on 25.
