2020 Mahindra Scorpio Is Getting a New Engines
The power room will take some changes for the upcoming season. Mahindra is using Citroen and Peugeot engines, but the company is ready for the radical move. A new unit is going to replace the couple of diesel mills that were available before. So, a 2.2 and 2.5-l displacements are going to be discontinued with the third generation of the SUV. Instead of these, engineers are adding a 2.0-liter diesel with 160 hp. A five-speed manual transmission is the standard power router, while you can always pick an automatic gearbox with six paces.
Another new engine will be 2.0-liter petrol. However, this one is still in development and it will definitely arrive later. Some say the gasoline drivetrain is coming next summer.
