As the biggest car company theses days, VW Group is reacting to the market pretty quickly, so it’s no wonder that lineups of all brands in the Group are in a big expansion. We’ve just recently seen new models like Audi Q4 and Q8, while the new e-tron is on the way. However, that’s not all. We are also about to see a new entry-level model, which is expected to arrive next year, as the 2021 Audi Q1. This will be the smallest and most affordable crossover in the lineup.
Although it’s still early to talk about exact details, there is no doubt that the 2021 Audi Q1 will have a lot of things in common with the A1. We are talking about both mechanics and aesthetics. Of course, this model will also come with loads of exclusive, crossover-ish details that should make it more appealing for all those who are looking for a small city car, which is also pretty luxurious. 2021 Audi Q1 Redesign
When it comes to base design characteristics, it’s not hard to make most of the predictions. Of course, the first thing that comes to mind is the platform. We count on the same version of the MQB architecture that is used for the A1 model. Therefore, most of the mechanics should be the same, as well as some of the dimensions. This particularly refers to the wheelbase, which goes slightly under 101 inches.
