Engines

It will be perfect for off-road adventures, especially with setup the current 4×4 vehicle is offering. But, this one is still questionable, since it could be too big. We expect the company to speak up soon, but it is more likely they turned to the greener variants.
Plug-In Hybrid and EV Spotted

Photographers caught the Unlimited 4-door model with the camo over the charging port. Also, fans claiming to see this one cruising on streets say it sounds like a PHEV. This is not the first time the FCA is testing such a system.
We can find further clues in the minivan segment. Chrysler Pacifica is combining a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 16 kWh battery. This system is good for 260 hp and it has a range of 33 miles. The current version of the Wrangler SUV is heavier, and its different setup will make this number drop below 30 miles. On the other hand, improvements to the electric system will also add a couple of miles. So, the 2021 Jeep Wrangler PHEV could end up between 30-35 miles of range.
2021 Jeep Wrangler Changes and Release Date
