Given the rising popularity of compact crossover, it’s no wonder that the 3008 is one of the most important models for the French manufacturer. The current generation has been around for more than three years and it receives a facelift. The 2021 Peugeot 3008 comes with loads of changes, starting from a new styling, which looks even better than before. Furthermore, you may count on novelties on the inside as well, which include updates of the infotainment system and all kinds of other novelties.
Significant novelties are coming under the hood as well. Besides familiar gasoline and diesel version, the 2021 Peugeot 3008 will be available with two plug-in hybrid variants, including the one that puts out full 300 horsepower. The new model is already available on many European markets and should arrive in others in the following weeks.

2021 Peugeot 3008 Redesign
Of course, the most notable changes are those in terms of exterior design. This was a typical facelift, so most novelties came at the front. There, you can notice a lot of interesting new details, all adapted to the brand’s latest design language. This particularly refers to headlights and grille, which closely resemble the bigger 5008 model. The front bumper has been revised as well and one of the things you’ll notice is that there are no foglights. These lamps are now integrated into headlights, so you can choose a so-called foglights mode.
The rear end also comes with interesting novelties. You may count on new taillights and turn signal lights, which all feature full-LED technology. You may also count on two new color options – Celebes and Vertigo Blue. Furthermore, there is also a new Black Pack appearance package. Of course, you may also count on a couple of new wheels designs.
Interior
Changes have come on the inside as well. Though they aren’t as numerous as on the outside, they are definitely very nice. The well-known i-Cockpit is now even better, as it comes with a bigger 10-inch touchscreen, while the 12.3 digital instrument cluster also gets a couple of tweaks.

On the other side, the overall cabin layout remains largely the same. Of course, you may count on some new color schemes in the offer, but the dashboard generally looks the same and utilizes mostly familiar materials. Of course, the amount of space remains unchanged, so you may count on two spacious rows of seats, which bot accommodate adults with ease.
2021 Peugeot 3008 Engines
When it comes to the powertrain, the 2021 Peugeot 3008 will offer a wide range of engine options. When it comes to internal-combustion units, things are rather the same. Therefore, base models will carry on with a 1.2-liter gasoline engine with around 130 horsepower. There is also a familiar 1.6-liter turbo-four, which puts out around 180 horsepower. Diesel lovers may count on a 1.5-liter BlueHDi unit, which features a max output of 130 horsepower.
Still, the most interesting thing under the hood is certainly a plug-in hybrid system, which comes in two variants. The base version offers a total output of 225 horsepower, while there is also an AWD model, which adds an electric motor to the rear axle, with a total output of 300 horsepower. In both cases, you may count on a 13.2-kWh battery pack, which ensures an all-electric range of around 35 miles.
