Green4U all-electric 6-door SUV Models

Following the revelation of the latest retro-style Bollinger Motors B1 Battery-Powered Truck Concept this summer, the Georgia-based Green4U technologies have resolved to put Green4U all-electric 6-door SUV models into production next year. Don Panoz, who is the chairman and co-founder of Green4U technologies, is renowned for his eponymous marque of performance cars. The company has announced plans to launch two new all-electric 4×4 vehicles by the second quarter of next year.

Although EVs are no longer a longshot in the automotive marketplace, the Green4U manufacturer said it targets a small segment of the market with its upcoming offerings. These include the Enova and MTU-6 all-electric six-door SUV models. The company showcased Green4U all-electric 6-door SUVs at the Taxicab, Limousine & Paratransit Association Trade Show in Denver.

Apparently, the rear doors are designed to provide ease of access to the rear-seating rows. According to Green4U, these doors are designed principally but not exclusively for fleet use. Regardless of their massive size, the prototypes on display can reach 230 miles of driving range on a single charge.

The Green4U all-electric 6-door SUVs – Platform and Appearance

The Green4U all-electric 6-door SUVs will use a modular aluminum chassis. This platform accommodates several vehicles, including the planned 8-door version of the Enova SUV as well as a pickup version of the MTU-6. Enova is a street-focused prototype that’s engineered with taxi services in mind. While the two SUVs are based on a similar platform, the Enova looks more like a crossover.

On the contrary, the MTU-6 resembles a classic Land Rover Defender courtesy of its rugged utilitarian design. The bodies of Green4U all-electric 6-door SUVs are reboots of current designs. It appears most of them come from a Chinese supplier. These body styles draw a host of inspirations from Panoz’s unrivaled expertise with aluminum and composites. Green4U focuses on powertrain and chassis technologies in an attempt to cut down the costs.

The Green4U CEO, one Jack Perkowski, claimed in a statement that the MTU-6 has an estimated range of at least 230 miles per charge. He went on to state that it is targeted to commercial buyers looking for off-road capable trucks with a zero-emission. The Green4U all-electric 6-door SUVs might be suitable for military applications. The company revealed these SUVs during an annual meeting of the Association of the U.S. Army in Washington, DC.

The Perkowski was quoted as saying, “we are targeting fleet operators who understand the significance of EVs in lowering operating costs. A company with fleet vehicles that can travel 50,000 miles yearly can save thousands of dollars on fuel and maintenance costs”.
