The next generation of the famous SUV has been spotted on testing in Germany and we expect to see a new model already next year, as 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe. This model is in the offer all around the world and it is in production for more than 17 years.
The original model came in 2000 and we have seen three generations of it so far. The current version is present since 2012 and it will be replaced soon. The fourth generation will come with many novelties. Of course, new styling is one of the top priorities, but we are about to see many novelties that will improve quality of driving. For the European market, there are two diesel units in the offer. A smaller 2.0-liter unit comes with either 148 or 183 horses, while the bigger 2.2-liter engine goes up to 200. Also, there is a big chance to see a twin-turbo version of a familiar V6 in the offer. In this configuration, max power goes up to 370 horses.
The company will continue to offer both manual and automatic transmission, as well as both FWD and AWD versions.
