The 2019 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is a compact crossover SUV with decent exterior styling. It is sold in 4 trims XLE, SE, LE and Limited. It does not get Platinum and Adventure trims like the regular RAV4 though.

The new model is coming in several exterior colors like Black Sand Pearl, Blizzard Pearl, Electric Storm Blue, Galactic Aqua Mica, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Ruby Flare Pearl, Silver Sky Metallic and Super White. Overall, the design is a bit more aggressive and more aerodynamic too.

The cargo space is also decent and Toyota ensures you can store gadgets and beverage bottles without problems. The interior colors offers are Ash, Black, Cinnamon and Nutmeg.

The 2019 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is well equipped with amenities and safety features, both. The LE trim gets 17-inch alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, automatic headlights, automatic climate control, keyless ignition, roof rails, rearview camera and heated mirrors. It also gets the company’s Safety Sense P suite.

The XLE trim adds a sunroof, fog lights, upgraded rearview camera, Entune Audio Plus, leather-wrapped steering wheel, HD radio, navigation. Heated front seats are optional.

The SE trim also adds 18-inch wheels, automatic LED headlights, SofTex vinyl upholstery, special exterior styling, heated front seats etc. In Limited trim, you get rear parking sensors, Entune Premium Audio, chrome exterior trim, Toyota navigation system with HDD. Optional is a JBL audio setup. You can opt for the Advanced Technology package too.

The USP of 2019 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is definitely the engine. It has a 2.5-liter four-cylinder unit with 3 motor generators. The unit generates 203 HP and has a CVT setup. The car’s nickel-metal hydride battery ensures you can drive electric-only for just 1 km.

It works mostly as a booster for the main engine. Despite the fact, the hybrid RAV4 is heavier than the regular variant it accelerates a bit faster. The ride is very good and the cabin remains quiet.
