Specs

Under the hood of the 2020 Cadillac Escalade Platinum is a 6.2-liter V8 engine. General Motors offers its largest unit for the biggest SUV. Some fans would like to see a 5.3-liter mill as an option, but it is not going to happen. The 6.2-l displacement is delivering 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. One of the recent changes improved the overall driving impression and fuel economy. The SUV is using a 10-speed automatic gearbox. It spreads the power to two wheels by default. All-wheel drive is also available.

Premium equipment of the Platinum model does not harm the overall performance. So, you don’t have to worry. 420 horsepower is enough for 8,500 pounds of towing capacity. Some say the new Escalade is going to offer a turbodiesel drivetrain. In this case, the vehicle could reach a total towing capacity of 11,000 pounds. Extended ESV model decreases the hauling capabilities, as well as the AWD.

2020 Cadillac Escalade Platinum vs Lincoln Navigator Black Label

But, they all have premium features in common. The price of the 2020 Cadillac Escalade Platinum and Lincoln Navigator Black Label are very similar.
