The 2023 Cadillac XT4 will represent the fifth production year of the generation and despite the initial plans that included a facelift, it will come without more important updates. We are about to see another delay of the update that was originally planned for the 2022 mode, then delayed for 2023. Now it looks like this update could not even happen. In any case, the next year’s model will carry on in the same way, without more important changes. More precisely, the only notable changes will be new color options.
The overall layout will remain the same, which means that you may count on familiar pros and cons. On the other hand, there is nothing to complain about in terms of interior space. With more than 109 inches in wheelbase, the XT4 is one of the biggest subcompact crossovers on the market. Therefore, it’s no wonder that both rows are very generous with legroom and accommodate adults with ease.
The cargo area offers around 22.5 cubic feet behind the second row, which is very good for the class. On the other hand, the overall cargo volume goes around 49 cubic feet, which isn’t all that impressive.
Features
Although novelties in this aspect are always possible, we are pretty sure that the 2023 Cadillac XT4 won’t change much in this aspect. The 2023 Cadillac XT4 will continue with the same, single powertrain choice. That’s a familiar 2.0-liter turbo-four, which puts out 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, which is plenty enough for adequate acceleration and overall performance. The engine comes coupled with a 9-speed automatic transmission, which also does a pretty decent job.
